Hi Louis, do you think this is related to settings? If not who should we assign it to? Thanks!

This is a WKWebView issue. I made a dummy project with both HTML files for English and Hindi (attached). I repro the slowness with Hindi. (Note that editing the HTML file in Hindi within Xcode made Xcode beachball a lot). rdar://30969493 Area: WebKit Summary: Hindi HTML is very slow to render compared to same page in English Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the attached project. 2. Tap the English button. It loads a page in English in the webview below the buttons. 3. Tap the Hindi button. It loads a page in Hindi in the webview below the buttons. Expected Results: 3 should be as fast as 2. Try several times, 3 is always noticeably slower. Actual Results: 3 is as fast as 2. Version: iOS 9, iOS 10 Notes: GOOGLER:lpromero Configuration: All (iPad, iPhone, device, simulator) Attachments: 'TestTermsOfService.zip' was successfully uploaded.
