Downloaded video cannot be played

Issue description

Chrome Version: (copy from chrome://version) 58.0.3019.3
OS: (e.g. Win7, OSX 10.9.5, etc...) Android 7.1.1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/18785200/why-your-team-not-going-final-four
(2) Download the video
(3) Try to play the video

What is the expected result?
Video plays

What happens instead?
Nothing happens

Mounir, do you know why the user is seeing a download button on a .m3u8 file?
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
I was doing triage of stalled bug and this was in the list. Quite happy to say that this is no longer a bug and there is no more download button.

Regarding the question in #1, #2 replies to it partially. The `currentSrc` does not contain "m3u8" which is required in order to detect that a URL is HLS. I'm not quite sure how that worked though. Feel free to open a follow-up if this needs more investigation.
