@msrchandra Works but still have the flickering of the screen. Mainly the bookmarks bar (I have it on permanent). Cannot use screen shots as it is very unpredictable.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome stable #56.0.2924.87 and latest dev #58.0.3026.3. Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Navigated to strava.com 2. Moved the cursor over the menu. 3. Did not observe any flickering of the screen and wrong cursor behavior. wardvandriessche@ - Could you please check this issue on latest dev #58.0.3026.3 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. Also please provide a screen cast for better understanding of the issue, if it persist. Thanks...!!

It seems to be only persistent when other pages are loading. In the video I started chromium, dev #56.0.2924.87, that loads my previous tabs. I only see the flickering when CPU usage is high (blue indicator on top). Once CPU usage goes down the flickering stops. Also tested when all extensions were disabled. Screen cast: https://vimeo.com/206541713 Cheers Ward

I have just noticed it's not only on the Strava website, but on all websites. It only caught my eye on strava because of the high CPU usage. Other websites show similar behavior with the bookmarks bar.

Hi. Could you verify "clean profile". And I have to say that Ubuntu 16.04 has given me most of my latest computer problems, could you verify with 16.04?
