Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.76 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/contextMenus#method-create use chrome.contextMenu.create and try to provide an icon. What is the expected behavior? There should be a way to specify an icon per context menu entry, just as toolbar buttons can specify icons. What went wrong? The contextMenu.create API for extensions doesn't have a way to specify an icon. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 56.0.2924.76 Channel: canary OS Version: Gentoo Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 I use the "External Application Button"[1] to switch links/pages between chrome/chromium. I filed a request with the developer[2] to be able to add icons other than the extension icon in the context menu entry. The developer directed me to the API manual[3]. Please add a way to change icons for extension menu entries. If toolbar buttons can change icons, why not the context menu? Dang. I guess this is a duplicate then. I don't know why my searches didn't bring that up. How do I close this?

This seems to be a feature request. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!
