Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 9202.37.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.75 Safari/537.36 Platform: 9202.37.0 (Official Build) beta-channel nyan_big Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Run battery_firmware info in crosh What is the expected behavior? Battery info - cycle count, capacity, etc - is shown. What went wrong? crosh> battery_firmware info Sorry, but this command is unavailable on this device. Did this work before? Yes 55 Chrome version: 57.0.2987.75 Channel: beta OS Version: 9202.37.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 Worked fine in stable channel on 55. This is a kind of useful command to have for debugging battery state, or for selling chromebooks (so you can give a capacity estimate), so it would be good if it would work again. o

this is intended at this point. we only include ectool on devices where it's "really" needed by something, and battery_firmware is not considered as such. not sure if the threads on the topic are public or we only hashed it out over e-mail. it's still available in dev mode after you run `dev_install`. |
