Shelf switches to auto-hide when screen is flipped into tablet mode and back to regular mode

Reported by james.we...@gmail.com, Feb 24 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 9000.82.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36
Platform: 9000.82.0 (Official Build) beta-channel cave

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Have "Auto hide shelf" UNCHECKED
2. Flip screen back into tablet mode
3. Flip screen back into regular mode

What is the expected behavior?
I would expect that my shelf would go back to where I had it before I went into tablet mode

What went wrong?
Shelf is set to "auto-hide shelf". I have to right click and un-check auto-hide.

Did this work before? No

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: beta
OS Version: 9000.82.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

The problem seems to be intermittent. I've heard that it also happens on the OG Asus Flip.

This seems to work fine on M57 beta. Would you mind trying it on that build and see if it's happening there? If not we can close this.
I would love to.

Can you make my Asus Flip C302CA update to 57 beta? Cuz right now it's on 56 beta.
