What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) install the Google Hangout app
(2) let someone else send a message containing an emoji character

What is the expected result?
The notification card shows the Hangout message, containing colorful emoji

What happens instead?
The notification card shows the Hangout message with emoji, but the emoji characters are not colorful.
