Issue description58.0.3020.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) Repro steps: - plug external display into my thinkpad and configure Windows so it's the "primary" display - F11 in any browser window - screen goes black with only the "Press F11 to exit full screen" bubble visible - F11 brings me back to where i was Conversely: - drag a browser window to the thinkpad's built-in display (the secondary display from Windows' perspective) - F11 in the window - revel in the beauty of fullscreen

Tested this issue on Windows 10 with chrome canary #58.0.3025.5, followed steps as mentioned in the comment #0. Also tested with flash video "http://flash.flowplayer.org/demos/events/" Didn't observe any black screen while changing into Fullscreen. Attaching a screen-cast for reference. grt@ could you please look into it and let us know your observations.

Huh. It's working today. I rebooted in between. The next time it happens I'll grab chrome://gpu to see if something is going on there. Thanks for trying to repro. Dropping priority since it may be a problem with my machine.
