Korean input broken in Facebook website

Reported by seungseo...@gmail.com, Feb 23 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://www.facebook.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install IBusHangle on Ubuntu. (Sorry I can't recall exactly how I did it.) I'm currently using IBUS 1.5.5 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
2. Open https://www.facebook.com in Google Chrome browser
3. Type Korean characters in any input form in Facebook website.

What is the expected behavior?
All the typed characters should appear correctly.

What went wrong?
Some of the previously typed characters would disappear as new characters are being typed. Try to type faster for better reproducibility.

Does it occur on multiple sites: No

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: 14.04
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

I don't know when it started. Since I started to use Google Chrome to access facebook last Fall, it has never worked correctly for me, if I remember correctly.

I vaguely remember a similar bug, but couldn't find it.

songsuk@: can you reproduce it? Please, also try it on CrOS.

Sorry, I don't have the bandwidth now. If I remember correctly this was broken for a long time. I'd suspect that this is Facebook's own issue.

Able to reproduce the issue on 69.0.3497.92-Ubuntu 14.04.5/ Chrome71.0.3567.0/CrOS11125.0.0 - Peppy.

Steps :
Set IME to Korean
1. On "What's on your mind" input field, enter "gksrmftkfkd"
2. hit the "Space" key, enter "rnrmf"

Expected result :
On step#1, should be able to enter "한글사랑"
On step#2, should be able to enter "구글"

Actual result :
on Step #2, "한르랑" is entered. The 1st character"한" is correctly entered. For the 2nd character,"rmf/글", When entering "r", "ㄱ" appears. When entering "m", "ㄱ" is deleted and "ㅡ" entered. When entering "f", "르" is entered.
The 3rd character,"tk/사" appears when entering "tk". When entering 4th char."fkd/랑", "사" is deleted and "랑" is added.

On step#2, "구ㄹ" enters. The 1st character enters properly. For 2nd char. "rm/그" is deleted when entering "f/ㄹ".

Seems ko-IME starts to break when entering 2nd character.
