Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: Safari on the iPhone has a feature where, as you are highlighting text, a bubble/magnifier appears above it so you can actually see precisely where you are highlighting (your thumb/finger prevents your from seeing where exactly you are highlighting). Chrome for Android phones NEEDS this feature and maybe it should even a feature across the entire OS. I attached a picture showing what it looks like. This feature is more relevant on phones than tablets but I'm sure it's still useful on tablets What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? see above Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 56 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.0 Flash Version:

Yeah, that's a cool idea but it would need to be "a feature across the entire OS". Chrome for Android won't unilaterally add it unless it's an OS convention, so this bug tracker isn't the right place for it. You can try filing a bug against Android bug tracker if you want.

Oh, ok. I understand, thank you. As far as me filing it in the Android bug tracker, wouldn't it be taken more seriously if a Google employee were to file it? Or maybe it's best a Googler just contacts the relevant people within the company about this |
