Those four tiles do not look like Popular Sites - I expect they're in fact based on that account's browsing history? If so, this is working as expected; there's no supported way for turning those tiles off. The second flag adjusts the UI for the snippets slightly, but it won't turn them off. There's currently no setting to turn them off completely, but see bug 695129 - it's possible we'll add one.

The option to disable the snippets is there on the default Chrome app flags, but not on the Chrome Dev. Is there a reason for this? |
