Looks like something is up with it's persistent disk.

From the console:

[8016934193.949789] systemd-udevd[145]: starting version 204
[8016934193.949789] scsi0 : Virtio SCSI HBA

[8016934193.949789] sd 0:0:1:0: Attached scsi generic sg0 type 0

[8016934193.949789] sd 0:0:1:0: [sda] 4096-byte physical blocks
[8016934193.949789] sd 0:0:1:0: [sda] Write Protect is off
[8016934193.949789] sd 0:0:1:0: [sda] Write cache: enabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA
[8016934193.949789] sda: sda1
[8016934193.949789] sd 0:0:1:0: [sda] Attached SCSI disk

And that's it.

Re-spawned the instance and mow it's back up.
