battor.trivial_pages and battor.steady_state should be enabled on all desktop platforms |
|
Issue descriptionIt seems like these benchmarks are either: - Not useful enough to be enabled on all platforms, meaning that they should be removed altogether - Useful enough to be enabled on all platforms Given that we've caught several regressions with them on Mac, I think it'd be worthwhile to enable them on all desktop platforms. Eventually, these benchmarks should be combined into power.desktop. CCing nednguyen@ and rnephew@ to inform them of this plan, and erikchen@ because he's the owner of the original Mac-only benchmark.

Weren't there parts of the trivial_pages benchmark that made it mac specific that would need to change before doing this? I could just be remembering wrong.

That got refactored out a while ago. This is the new story set: https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/tools/perf/page_sets/trivial_sites.py?type=cs&q=TrivialSitesStorySet&l=103 |
