Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://codepen.io/anon/pen/qReZbp Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Launch Chrome 2. Open http://codepen.io/anon/pen/qReZbp 3. Check the ellipsised text in CodePen's output panel (highlighted in yellow) What is the expected behavior? Text is correctly ellipsised, i.e. all three dots are shown (...) What went wrong? Only two dots are shown. Both Safari and Firefox render the text as expected. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 If you play with .block's width and/or different randomized text, you can get Chrome to display anywhere between 1.5 to 2 to 2.5 dots. I also checked the latest "raw" build of Chromium, and the bug is still there.

Why was this merged into 404150 as a duplicate rather than "Blockedon"? 404150 is a meta issue that has no details. |
