Look for better quality and accuracy of Snippets from Google Search.

Issue description

Chrome Version : Version 56.0.2924.87
URLs (if applicable) : Please refer to attachments
Other browsers tested: Please refer to attachments
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue: Yes, please refer to attachments
     Safari:
    Firefox:
IE: Yes, I've done the counter-check by IE, my IE version is 11.576.14393.0

What steps will reproduce the problem? I actually found the bug from Google Search. As Google Search seems to be one of the major news aggregators nowadays but some information in the snippets doesn't find in the original content or refer to other topic or comment or tag name... I think that Google Algorithm can improve the accuracy and strengthen the algorithm.
(1) Due to my web mining project, I need to study Google search. However, I've found that many snippets come from Google Search are so strange... especially when the snippets contained three or four pieces of information separated by dot, the problem easily reoccurred.
(2) Some information in the snippet either cannot be found in the original content or refer to other topic or refer to comment or refer to tag name. Evidence showed in the attachments.
(3) the published date in the snippet doesn't match the original content. Evidence showed in the attachments.

What is the expected result? I'll expect that the heading and snippet most likely reflect the heading and some information or summary in relation to the original content rather. If the snippet after google search give us misinformation, it might increase a risk of lawsuit, complaint, pressure from public, reputation,

What happens instead?

Unable to reproduce the issue in Mac 10.12.2, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 by using chrome reported version #56.0.2924.87 and latest canary #58.0.3018.0.

Steps followed to reproduce the issue are as follows:
-----------
1. Did google search by typing "Donald Trump denies White House".
2. Navigated to link 6 on google search.
3. Observed that heading and snippet most likely reflected the heading or some information in relation to the original content and the published date in the snippet also match the original content.

Problems with Google search results are not Chrome bugs.

Dear krajshree,

Due to my web mining project, I've studied thousands of records from Google search and concluded these problems' pattern - snippet problems. As I said, the problems are easily identified while the snippet contains three or four summaries. Well, this is not all of them having snippet problem, only some of them have this snippet problem.

This time, I've used the same keyword as last time. Although I can't find the same record as I reported last time, I still find other snippet problem from the same keyword but on other articles.
In order to give you more information, I've used the same chrome browsers with the extension, other chrome without an extension on other machines, and Internet explorer. The snippet problem from Google Search is constant between three different browsers.

As I said, the snippet problem doesn't limit to any particular keyword, any keyword searching by Google can be triggered this snippet problem. I've showed you other examples.

This time, I've given you the snapshot with my steps, as well as well the google results, and the original articles. I hope that you or your team can identify the problem and resolve it soon.

Otherwise, you or your team can hire me, I can contribute to Google to increase the data quality.

Thanks.

Stephen.

Dear krajshree,

I've provided substantial supplementary to you via the Tracker. Please look
at my response.
I can't say all of the google search having this snippet problem, just only
some of them. However, I believe that Google or your team can resolve it.

Thanks,

Stephen.

@5,6: This bug tracker is for Chrome browser bugs. It is not about Google search problems and the people who work on Chromium aren't Google search engineers. I can't comment on whether you have actionable issues or not, but I can say that you're reporting them in a forum where they'll never be dealt with by actual Google search folks. I suggest finding a product forum for Google Search and asking there where to report such bugs (I don't know the answer, or I'd just direct you).

Sorry about that.
