What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) load sites above
What is the expected result?
Page loads successfully
What happens instead?
interstitial page "This site can't provide a secure connection."
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
We've been receiving a lot of customer feedback saying they're unable to access google sites on Kindle devices. They end up with error message "This site can't provide a secure connection." when trying to accessing google sites.
We notice the metrics Net Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR) has increased a lot since they started using v56.
The issue isn't the date/time setting. The date/time on impacted devices are correct at the time of contact.

Are there any ongoing experiments that would only impact some Google customers? (E.g. TLS 1.3, QUIC, etc.?) Any hint on what could be causing this would be appreciated. In case any experiments that could be causing this are going on, are they tied to the Google account? And is there a way for customers to opt out of them? (Or a way for devs to force-enable them to try and repro?) Thanks!
