Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open following code https://jsfiddle.net/saocbmz4/2/ 2. Check that after 5 second when source is changed timeupdate is also triggered What is the expected behavior? As no time is changed it should not happen. Same behavior is not observed in other browser - firefox, edge. What went wrong? When video tag src is changed timeupdate event is also getting triggered. Thanks for the report & jsfiddle. Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results, Good Build: 56.0.2908.0 (Revision: 429486) Bad Build: 56.0.2910.0 (Revision: 430103) You are probably looking for a change made after 429636 (known good), but no later than 429637 (first known bad). CHANGELOG URL: The script might not always return single CL as suspectas some perf builds might get missing due to failure. https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/6beed581f1e7936cee213ad551116228f7f91c86..a7f938399ef9a6d7c2f804848ac815bc4ba3e48a https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/a7f938399ef9a6d7c2f804848ac815bc4ba3e48a - chcunningham@ could you please check the issue and help. Note: Able to reproduce the issue on Win10, Mac OS X 10.12.2, Ubuntu 14.04 using Chrome Canary #58.0.3014.0, Dev 58.0.3013.3, Beta 57.0.2987.54, Stable 56.0.2924.87
