Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3015.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Open temp.html from attachments or https://1drv.ms/u/s!Av6HldQ1OB8gpcBwzh80yDruBWsNFg It contains a small object tag referencing a square svg which should be uscaled to cover the entire element due to object-fit:cover specified on the object tag What is the expected behavior? You shouldn't see any yellow as the black rectangle covers the entire area of the svg; an alert should tell you the rectangle is 150x150 big, and located at 0x0 What went wrong? Object-fit:cover isn't applied so the svg rect is resized to be contained in the object tag, not to cover it Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 58.0.3015.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Works in Firefox. Edge does not support object-fit yet but the feature is "high priority" on their backlog.

Your windows repro appears to be missing the svg. Whether the browsers does (Firefox) or does not (Edge/Chrome) support object-fit properly, you should see black on the page. The correct behavior is that you shouldn't see any yellow, which is what you should get in Firefox.
