Project Member Reported by atamalet@google.com, Feb 17 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Using ChromeVox on a ChromeBook read the content of

<div tabindex="0" role="gridcell" aria-label="This should be announced">
  Some text
</div>

What is the expected result?
The aria-label should be announced

What happens instead?
ChromeVox does not announce the aria-label

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
If the role is removed ChromeVox does announce the aria-label. Note that this happens only on ChromeOS. When using the ChromeVox extension it works well.

On latest ChromeVox (on Chrome OS), the provided snippet works.
