if you are on Android 7, then webview is provided by chrome by default, so you are not on the beta channel to begin with

that's a bug on the play store, you are definitely not using the beta if it's even enabled

What does the app list in the system settings say is the installed version of WebView on your device?

See the attached version. Also I'm unsure if it's installed or not but the issue is it's not giving me enable option which I need it.

Why do you need to enable it? We disable it intentionally on Android 7 and there's no reason to manually enable it. If an application is telling you that you need to update WebView, then the application is incorrect; the right way to get a newer version is to update Chrome instead. If the app still doesn't work after updating Chrome, let us know what app is the issue and we can try to look into it. |
