Regression: Chrome becomes unresponsive on using auto download

Issue description

Chrome Version: 58.0.3014.0 dev 
OS: Ubuntu 14.04

Pre-Condition: Make sure "Ask where to save each file before downloading" checkbox is checked in Downloads section of chrome://settings

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch chrome and go to https://permission.site/  
(2)Click on auto download and select allow from permission bubble
(3)Now again click on auto download and save each file and observe.
(4)Repeat step-3 and observe

Expected: Chrome should be responsive and files should be downloaded
Actual: Instead chrome becomes un-responsive.

NOTE: Issue is not seen in windows.

Able to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using 58.0.3014.0.

Note: Unable to reproduce it on Mac 10.12.3.

Issue is still seen on Linux Ubuntu-14.04 with chrome version 58.0.3020.0

Tested the issue on ubuntu 14.04 using chrome M59 #59.0.3047.0 and issue is not reproducible.

@sc00335628-- Could you please check in latest chrome and update the thread accordingly.

Checked the issue on Linux 59.0.3047.0 dev and is no longer reproducible.
