Accidentally hit send on the bug. 
Description: gerrit message <CL> "some message" 
doesn't work and always fails with CL doesn't exist.

I don't understand #1 and #2 combined. Can you explain in more detail what command line tool(s) you've run so we can reproduce this?

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
The "gerrit" tool isn't something built or maintained by the chrome infra team.

Given that you aren't using https://review.openstack.org/Documentation/cmd-index.html, since it requires ssh access, I assume you're using https://github.com/shanesmith/gerrit-cli. Please contact the authors of that script, or reopen this bug if you think it has been closed in error.
