Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Right click on an element press Inspect. 2. The z-index will change to something really huge. 3. Close developer tools. 4. The z-index doesn't change back to normal and now appears on top of other elements. What is the expected behavior? The z-index should change back to its original value. What went wrong? The z-index should change back to its original value after closing element inspector. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

Thanks for the report, the inspector should not be altering the page without user action. I'm not able to reproduce this on Stable or 58.0.3014.0. Would you be able to offer more details, a screencast, or perhaps attach sample code? It would help us investigate the issue if we can reproduce it or see how it happens.

(check that you have no extensions installed that would be doing that) |
