Weird autocomplete suggestion appears when typing /

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chrome
2. Type / in the omnibox
3. (you can press the down arrow to keep the suggestion up as it disappears after about a second)

What is the expected behavior?
A list of matching search results should be loaded from Google. This is the case after about 1 second.

What went wrong?
A massive code snippet appears as the only suggestion before the proper suggestions have loaded. It disappears after about 1 second. As you can see it starts with /, which is probably part of the reason it's suggested.

This can be reproduced in Incognito mode with no extensions enabled.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-10 using chrome reported version #56.0.2924.87 and latest canary #58.0.3017.0.

Attached a screen cast for reference.

Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue.
------------
1. Opened Chrome.
2. Typed / in the omnibox.
3. Observed a list of matching search results should be loaded from Google as expected.

pgordon674@ - Could you please check this issue on latest canary #58.0.3017.0 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not.

Hi, turns out this got saved as a suggestion from my history. It still doesn't explain why the result went away after a second but I can no longer reproduce this after using Shift+Delete to remove the suggestion.
