Please due less-specific bugs into more-specific ones instead of the other way around.

Comment 6 by derat@chromium.org, Jun 20 2017

Issue 718856 has been merged into this issue.
Crash from Sarah Gordon:
http://crash/8ab7b23c68000000
crash from me:

http://crash/4b65391908000000

crash occurred on tapping the touchpad to click a link on a web page.

The signature says "kernel warning and is not fatal" but my samus definitely crashed. It didn't even come back up after waiting or after pressing the power button; I had to power cycle with Refresh + Power to get it back on.

"intel_wait_for_vblank" warnings are only showing up on samus (Google Pixel 2015) and gandof (Toshiba Chromebook 2 (2015)).

This warning is the #2 warning emitted by the kernel across all HW for Beta (9592.* and later) releases.

The #1 warning (in iwl_mvm_rm_sta()) was fixed \o/ in 9672.0.0 :) making this warning the "new" #1. :(

If this warning isn't useful, please remove it to not spam Chrome OS monitoring. If it is useful, please fix so we can better see issues with new HW.

ps. Michael, It wouldn't surprise me if this warning is also flagging kernel or GPU crashes, but http://crash/4b65391908000000 is marked as a "kernel-warning" and not a crash per se. There might be an associated Chrome crash and if you happen to know what to look for, that would be helpful to share here.

i just hit this again in 63.0.3239.86 on samus. There's no other crash report; the device simply freezes and doesn't respond to anything but the Refresh + Power shortcut to reboot it.

crash/a98179d297cb1a72

Is there anything that can be done here? *something* is clearly awry.
This bug was fixed and tested. we have to investigate what exactly is happening on your machine. Could you, please, provide me more details, like repro steps, how often it's happening, etc?
