MacViews/a11y: Text-specific a11y attributes should not be supported for protected views::Textfields. |

Issue descriptionNSSecureTextfields don't support any of the text-specific accessibility attributes as listed in Issue 678898 . Chrome with MacViews currently does, but we should match Cocoa's behaviour. To repro: 1. Open the Accessibility Inspector. 2. Open the HTTP Auth dialog in Chrome. 3. Use the Accessibility Inspector to inspect the password field. It should not show any of the text-specific attributes as listed in the bug mentioned previously, e.g 'SelectedText', 'SelectedTextRange', 'NumberOfCharacters', etc.
