Close menu UI when back button clicked |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionWhen the user presses the back button UI from inside menu mode, the menu mode should close and the user should be returned to their content (which by that point should be displaying the url indicator in loading mode).

Josh, for the sake of completeness, can you confirm whether we'll exit the menu in all of the following? The default answer is "yes". - Click the Back button (yes, according to this bug) - Click the Forward button - Refresh - Type Enter after entering text in the omnibox - Click on an omnibox suggestion - Select another open tab - Create a new tab

Yes on all of the above. For tabs in particular we won't be surprised if it doesn't work well; when I make a new tab, the user is more likely to want to edit the URL, instead of being kicked out to the new tab page. But it's a reasonable place to start, and we'll inevitably tweak flows once we can go hands on.

A batch of legacy VR UX bugs have been scrubbed for future work, now summarized here: http://go/chrome-vr-backlog UX has approved closing these bugs. As tasks are scoped, these bugs can be reopened (if relevant), or recreated as needed. |
