The Chrome OS team has been receiving some feedback around the frequency of the Sheriffing rotation reminder emails that are sent out before the rotation as well as the content of those emails.
Frequency => The following email gets sent to the upcoming sheriff currently every day for a couple of weeks before their rotation - pain point is too many emails flooding their inboxes/

This is a friendly reminder that you are currently scheduled as a Chrome OS tree sheriff for 2016-05-20 to 2016-05-23. For more information on being a tree sheriff, including info on how to schedule a replacement for yourself if necessary, please see http://www.chromium.org/developers/tree-sheriffs/sheriff-details-chromium-os
Content => We are getting feedback that this email is not useful enough for brand new sheriffs (both junior and senior) to come up to speed and be productive on the rotation. We need to update the content of this email with links to different tools etc.
Should we work with Chris to see if we can alter this behavior and content?
