Chrome not able to pass the Authorization header as NTLM authentication code

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Using MVC application with AngularJS which is a Windows authentication based application(NTLM) hosted in IIS.
2. But when I try to open the application in chrome, it keeps prompting for Authentication

What is the expected behavior?
Should login to the App using the Windows Authentications

What went wrong?
Login prompt appears repeatedly without returning to the app.

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: 8
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

We are experiencing the same issue on our time and expense system which uses ntlm authentication. Chrome for Windows works as expected, however, Chrome for macOS, iOS and Android all receive the repeated prompt for credentials.  All other browsers work as expected (Firefox, IE, and Edge). Our users first started reporting issues last week.

srinath: Is the target server classified as being in the Intranet zone on the client machine?

jbanec: You are seeing a different issue than what's described in #0. Are you using the NTLM authentication scheme or using Negotiate authentication scheme using the NTLM mechanism?
