Thanks for the report, I'm not sure what's going on from the error without seeing the command used to start it. Since this bug tracker is for tracking chromium issues with chromium, you may have better luck finding answers in other forums online for this issue, e.g. StackOverflow, Selenium forums. Unless we can pinpoint some problem in chromium, they would be the place to go. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10548795/setup-chrome-webdriver-with-remote-chromedriver-exe-file https://github.com/admc/wd/issues/163 allada@, would you happen to have seen this before?

This looks like a case of corruption somewhere in the OS. I am going to close the issue, but if it can be pinpointed that chromium/chrome/chromedriver is the culprit I'd be happy to reopen the bug.

Sorry for the disturbance caused, I found the problem. The problem is not with the Chrome driver, it is with the antivirus. Even though the antivirus is disabled it some how blocking the driver from running. So now i just added the exception for the driver exe. |
