Error when opening the Chrome driver from the network

Reported by avani...@gmail.com, Feb 14 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Tried to recreate the error in some PC's but recreated in only some PC's
2. I have a application that calls the chrome driver and traverse to some site and auto fill the form entries

What is the expected behavior?
Launch chrome and Auto fill the form on the traversed website.

What went wrong?
Recently I got an error when I call the chrome browser that "Cannot start the driver service on http://localhost:51778/ chromedriver.exe Form1_Load 02-03-2017 07:03:06 A2P2" while I run the application in the network. In the event viewer I got error saying:
Faulting application name: ChromBrowser.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5870db26
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdbdf
Exception code: 0xe0434352
Fault offset: 0x0000b727
Faulting process id: 0x1048
Faulting application start time: 0x01d28432d59d0b7d
Faulting application path: \\Dell-pc\d \test\SupportPrg\ChromeWebBrowser\ChromBrowser.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll
Report Id: 2e0baf5f-f026-11e6-9609-484d7ea4b66c

When application ran locally everything works fine.

Methods tried:
•	Tried by disabling the Antivirus to check if it's blocking from chrome driver from opening
•	Created the dump files of error to check if there is any error in coding of my application.
•	Tried executing the exe locally and the application works correctly with the automation.

Did this work before? Yes

Chrome version: 56 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

Thanks for the report, I'm not sure what's going on from the error without seeing the command used to start it.

Since this bug tracker is for tracking chromium issues with chromium, you may have better luck finding answers in other forums online for this issue, e.g. StackOverflow, Selenium forums. Unless we can pinpoint some problem in chromium, they would be the place to go.

allada@, would you happen to have seen this before?

This looks like a case of corruption somewhere in the OS. I am going to close the issue, but if it can be pinpointed that chromium/chrome/chromedriver is the culprit I'd be happy to reopen the bug.

Sorry for the disturbance caused, I found the problem. The problem is not with the Chrome driver, it is with the antivirus. Even though the antivirus is disabled it some how blocking the driver from running.

So now i just added the exception for the driver exe.
