User data is not shown on the main page after the first signing in

Issue description

Device name: Sony Experia C4 E5333

Application version: Chrome beta 57.0.2987.38
Operating system: Android 5.1

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open application 
2. Sign in 
3. Look at the top-right corner

Expected result: User data is shown in the top-right corner on the main page after the first signing in 


Actual result: The button "Войти" is shown in the top-right corner on the main page after the first signing in

Thanks for reporting the issue! Can you please answer below questions for further triaging?

1. Are you sure Chrome Menu>Settings>sign in is successful ? Can you post screenshot of the same.
2. Do you see the issue on Chrome Stable also?
Components: Services>SignIn
1. Yes, I'm sure, but it was only at first registration.
2. No, it doesn't appear in Chrome Stable.

Can you please clarify a few things:

1. When you say "Sign in" in step 2, what exactly do you mean by that? Do you mean you're signing into Chrome via Chrome Menu > Settings > Sign in to Chrome? Or are you signing into Search by clicking the button you've highlighted on google.com?

2. Assuming you're signing in through Chrome Menu > Settings > Sign in to Chrome, were you on this Search page before going to Settings?

If you could take screenshots of every step along the flow, that would be helpful.
