Copied selector fails to escape period character in ID

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create element with ID containing a period character: id="some.id" 2. Right click on element > Copy > Copy selector. 3. Copied selector "#some\2e id" is incorrect. What is the expected behavior? Copied selector should have escaped period character like so: "#some\.id". What went wrong? Copied selector "#some\2e id" is incorrect. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0
