The WPT Sync code relies heavily on webkitpy libraries like webkitpy.common.system.executive. In splitting out the code, we'd have to either transition off of these webkit-specific libraries or vendor them into the separate codebase.

From the doc it seemed like this could still be done but isn't very high priority.

This issue has been Available for over a year. If it's no longer important or seems unlikely to be fixed, please consider closing it out. If it is important, please re-triage the issue.
