Clicking reset pose in Magic Window mode doesn't work

Project Member Reported by dbbrooks@chromium.org, Feb 13 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version: 57.0.2987.50
OS: Android 7.1.2
Device: Pixel

What steps will reproduce the problem?
In magic window mode:
1. Access https://webvr.info/samples/03-vr-presentation.html on the test device
2. Rotate the device vertically until it is completely vertical (i.e. the screen is directly in front of the user and not rotated)
3. Turn the test device right or left until the FPS display is no longer in view, approximately 90 degrees
4. Select the “Reset Pose” button

What is the expected result? the content’s view has been updated so that the FPS display is now centered

What happens instead? the content's view remains the same.

This is working as intended. The daydream platform disallows (or at least strongly discourages) resetting the pose through any means other than the controller home button.

If you switch your headset type to cardboard, then the reset button should work.
Yea, with cardboard as the headset it does. Thanks.
