Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Any pdf file Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Website with pdf 2. Click pdf 3. Autodown loads and opens on desktop What is the expected behavior? Ask user where to save file, not auto open. All settings cleared - filed this with help forum. Canary apparently fixes this issue. Not sure how it broke What went wrong? Auto-downloads instead of asking user where to save file. Clear file opening settings does not work. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 New with update. Canary has been reported to fix this. Not sure what the issue was though

If canary fixes the issue it's probably already fixed (especially if rbasuvula@ can't repro). It might be related to your profile and/or some setting that disables 'always prompt before saving.' You said you cleared the setting. Does this happen in incognito for you? Marking as won't fix for now. Feel free to reopen if it's not fixed after the next update. |
