Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.37 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Update to 58.0.3010.0. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Google Cast extension reappears (alongside the media router button). Noticed this on Mac, and reproduced it on Windows. Did this work before? Yes 58.0.3009.0 Chrome version: 58.0.3010.0 Channel: canary OS Version: OS X 10.12.3 Flash Version: I would guess that https://codereview.chromium.org/2678423004 caused this, but Issue 636154 isn't visible.

Would be helpful to know if the original reporter has Sync enabled; perhaps we incorrectly re-synced the extension's presence from another device.

The Cast toolbar action appears while the Cast dialog is active. This is not an extension but a built-in toolbar feature. Closing as WAI. |
