Just recompiled version 56.0.2924.76 (64-bit) - works fine, as expected. This is something in the new version...

Widevine stopped working for me today. I notice I'm now on version 57 [57.0.2987.133 (64-bit)], which explains it.

In my experience, Widevine only ever works on EVEN numbered versions of Chrome.
https://shaka-player-demo.appspot.com/demo/ shaka player can't play the widevine samples either (Chrome Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit))
