Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Gmail.
2. Use Gmail.
3. Open a new tab and type an address into the address bar, and hit Enter.

What is the expected behavior?
The new page loads and is functional.

What went wrong?
The new tab remained blank and inoperable. The reload button did briefly change to the stop button as if it were loading content, but ultimately didn't render anything.

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.87 Channel: stable
OS Version: Fedora 25
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

Chrome was freshly installed, as was the install of Fedora.

I tried multiple tabs and URLs, as well as a new window. Only the initial Gmail tab showed content. I was able to open Firefox on the same machine at the same time and browse normally.

I am unable to duplicate the problem after rebooting. :(
