Css style selectors can be set one time only via JavaScript

Issue descriptionExample URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: I have attached example csserr.html 1. open example csserr.html on your mobile device with Chrome Beta (57) or Chrome Dev (58) 2. click on screen 3. by first click it should get green background by second click it should get red background by next clicks it should change vice versa green>red or red>green but on Chrome beta 57 or 58 it gets changed only one time (to green in that example) and stops to change css style anymore after. What is the expected behavior? It should behave like on all other properly working browsers, such as actual Chrome Android 55, or FireFox Android, or FireFox PC, InternetExplorer11,12, Chrome PC, etc... What went wrong? Css value gets accepted only one time, following tries to change css selectors style via JavaScript fail. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes Chrome Android 55.0.2883.91 Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 57.0.2987.19 beta Channel: n/a OS Version: 6 Flash Version: Please fix it!

We are able to repro this issue only in Chrome Beta:57.02987.38 Device:Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F)/MMB29K and Pixel-C/7.0.0 @logcat: http://go/chrome-androidlogs1/6/690066

Not only Chrome Beta (57) but Chrome Dev (58) was affected too, at least the dev version I had. But you are right, not present on release Chrome55, and i mentioned that. But since I know Chrome beta slowly gets to Chrome release, I want to point your attention on this fact that you fix it before this beta ever gets final release state. Not that I get heart attack if you make Chrome beta to final release without fixing this issue.

Confirmed that it works on master. The fix is also merged to the 57 branch, but it's not verified in the duplicate yet. |
