I think I caused this with a change to mash_browser_tests. https://codereview.chromium.org/2675443002/ landed on Feb 7th at 19:50UTC and flakes started at 20:23UTC. It got reverted for unrelated reasons and flakes stopped.

I relanded https://codereview.chromium.org/2680283003/ on Feb 10th at 18:53UTC and the flakes started again at 21:17UTC.

I can't reproduce the test failing locally. Using the same GN args and running with src/infra/scripts/runtest_wrapper.py with the same args views_mus_interactive_ui_tests passed a few hundred times in a row.

I can't find any dependency paths between views_mus_interactive_ui_tests and anything in //chrome/test or //chrome/app/mash, so I'm not sure what exactly is causing this. 

My only guess is it has something to do with moving mash_browser_tests from running on the buildbot to running with swarming? Alternatively, someone else landed, reverted and relanded a CL at around the same times that is causing this.

To test out my theory that it has something to do with swarming vs not swarming, I have a CL out to switch views_mus_interactive_ui_tests to use swarming. https://codereview.chromium.org/2694803002/

Running that CL on the trybots it looks like the next non-swarming test that runs after views_mus_interactive_ui_tests, which is views_mus_unittests, to flake in one of the test runs. It seems highly likely this is related to swarming vs not swarming.

Switch CrOS mus tests to use swarming.

Tests on linux_chromium_chromeos_ozone_rel_ng that don't use swarming
have been flakey recently and I think it might be related to switching
mash_browser_tests to use swarming.

It's possible this is a symptom of some timing issue. Before
https://crrev.com/2680283003 mash_browser_tests would always run first
then views_mus_interactive_ui_tests second. Otherwise there is no
dependencies from views_mus_interactive_ui_tests to mash_browser-tests.

At this point there is no reasons the tests shouldn't be using swarming,
so it's worth checking.
