Issue descriptionChrome Version : 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit) Operating System and Version: Ubuntu 16.10 URLs (if applicable) : https://daneden.github.io/animate.css/ Description of performance problem: Rendering is laggy on my new Kaby Lake laptop (Dell XPS 13), even new tab animation is not smooth. E.g. Animate.css consumes more than 50% CPU when idle. Youtube also is very CPU hungry (2x compared to an 2yo laptop with exactly same software) I traced with Rendering configuration. Choosing all makes browser totally unresponsive. Let me know if I need to trace anything else.

Thanks for the report. The actionable bit here is that animate.css seems to be causing our rendering pipeline to keep drawing even when nothing is happening on-screen. Let's turn this bug into that. If you have more traces for other sluggish behavior on this computer, feel free to file a bug and we'll take a look. In the meantime, vmiura, can you help triage here?

animate.css has 5 color animations running, e.g. note the "Animate.css" title, and "Animate it" button colors are changing, so I don't think this is a bug. |
