Issue descriptionChrome Version: Chrome 55.0.2883.91 (Official Build), etc. OS: Android 7.1.1 Nexus 6P What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) In Chrome Mobile, visit http://codepen.io/miketaylr/pen/RKBXeM What is the expected result? You should hear an annoying dog barking. What happens instead? No audio. It would seem that sites are relying on Chrome Mobile's spec violation to prevent audio autplay: https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/2803#issuecomment-258915640 https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/embedded-content.html#attr-media-autoplay is pretty clear about autoplay being a boolean attribute.
