Non-Regression : Font size is not getting reflected in Downloads folder

Project Member Reported by mmanchala@chromium.org, Feb 7 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version: 57.0.2987.30/9202.17.0 dev-channel Daisy,Quawks,Candy and Minnie
OS: Chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Sign into User -> Go to chrome://settings ->Under 'Web content' change Font size to 'Very Small' -> observe Font size is changed
(2)Now go to Files App and observe Font size is changed to 'Very small' -> Again change Font size to 'Medium' in chrome://settings and observe Font is changed(in chrome://settings)
(3)Now Observe Font size in Files App i.e. Font should changed from 'Very small' to 'Medium' size (Please refer video)

Note:
1.Close the Downloads folder and again reopen -> Now observe the font size is seen changed(to Medium)
2.Issue is also seen if Font size is changed in chrome://md-settings

Expected: Font in Downloads should get reflected immediately after changing font size from 'very small' to 'Medium'

Actual: Instead No immediate change is seen in Font of Downloads

This is Non-Regression issue seen from M-54

@sashab : Can you please confirm is this change is intended?
i.e. No immediate change is seen in Font of Files App after changing font size to 'Medium' or 'Large' in chrome://settings , need to close and reopen Files App to see that change

Thanks..!!

Sorry about the lack of clarification. Do other apps in ChromeOS have the same behaviour? We decided that it was a small enough use case, and perhaps intended functionality (having to restart the app to see the changes), that it's best marked as WontFix.

Issue is also seen in 'Wallpaper' App and 'Camera' App.
Attaching video for reference and also attaching expected video for reference

Thanks..!!

Yeah, I think this is expected behaviour. ChromeOS apps are not affected by the font size change.
Weifang, can you confirm? :)
Agreed - This is WAI.
