Device chooser missing "with" and colon

Project Member Reported by lgar...@chromium.org, Feb 7 2017

Issue description

All the mocks I've seen say "... wants to pair with:".
The current device chooser says "wants to pair", which is a little more grammatically tottering.

The regular web permission prompt says "wants to:", which has a colon, although the verb for a permission is placed where it is named (since there is only one icon per permission).

Any objections to changing the device chooser to "... wants to pair with:"?

(Also, sorry to CC you a bunch of you on all these bugs. Let me know if they're not in your purview.)

This is intentional, per a UI Review request (see comment thread)
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1MkQdLUu3rJe23qhS_XbNEO8aM7YX1IR98N89yj9z7Uc/edit#slide=id.g18618d0a16_0_79

If you feel strongly, reach out to srahim@ for UX writing thoughts. For now though, I'd say WontFix as it's probably still UI Review's current opinion.

Thanks for those links; didn't find that decision earlier.

I understand the reasoning now, but "wants to pair" sounds particularly incorrect because "pair" as a verb is almost always transitive.

What about "...wants to pair with a device."?

+srahim for UX writing help

I talked with ainslie@ briefly and the first choice is to leave as is but there are no strong feelings so if srahim@ feels differently you are welcome to change it.

Removing myself. srahim@ was having trouble getting bugs to show up in email so might be worth re-pinging. If UX is needed, reach out to maxwalker@ as security design contact.

Closing based on #3 and #5. It hasn't come up since and we can revisit if needed.
