Issue descriptionSee http://output.jsbin.com/ticeve/quiet & enable paint rectangles. It appears we paint the whole element then apply the clip afterwards. Ideally we should only paint the clipped area.

Might be worth thinking about this in relation to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=686074 - I'd love to see clip-path moved to the compositor.
