It works in 58. No version number was provided here, I expect it may be an old version? I think there was also a short lived bug that broke canary for a little while? jrmerrill2004@, could you provide some more details like version info, what was searched for, and what happened?

I will double check again. Last time I tried (last week) it worked, except for one minor issue, which I've been meaning to file a bug about it (I think the print page is missing an "associated-control" attribute.

Assigning to dpapad, though this is waiting on feedback from a user.

It is on Chrome OS Version 53.

It just says "Search Settings (coming soon)". When I go to update Chrome OS, it still says it is up to date.

Version 53 is pretty old. The "search settings" functionality has been implemented since. Please try a newer version. I suggest disabling MD Settings and trying to update to a newer version. You should be able to update to latest stable which is 56 according to https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2017/02/stable-channel-update-for-chrome-os.html. |
