Currently if the user tries to interact with input components such as date pickers, the Chrome for Android version renders on screen in mono, necessitating the user remove their phone and restart the app. 

Initial plan for FF release is simply to disable the date picker component. In future versions we can create functioning solutions.

+billorr@, this appears to be a sub task of (or at least related to)  issue 661243 .  I'm not sure if each input type will need to be done individually or if there is one solution that addresses them all.

I'm working on a change to disable select popup, date picker popup, and color picker popup, then another change to render them correctly.  First change we should have sooner, and second we can delay.

Updating bug title to 1) expand scope to all elements that rely on browser-provided interactive UI (not just date picker), and 2) narrow scope to disabling, for VR-FF release. We will file separate bugs for the correct design and rendering of the input types.

  * Select box
  * Multi-select box
  * Auto-complete box
* Date & time widgets
* Color picker
* File picker

[vr] Introduce VrTabHelper

This is currently a boolean holder, but will eventually
be responsible for both setting per-dialog suppression
flags on the WebContents and informing VrShell when
suppression notifications need to shown to the user.
