No internet only on Chrome

THIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB
BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE!

Device name:OnePlus 3T
Android version:7.0
WebView version (from system settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView):
Application:Chrome/ Web view
Application version:

URLs (if applicable):



Steps to reproduce:
(1) No internet in Chrome. No specific steps

Expected result: To be able to browse using Chrome. To be able to use Payment Gateways.


Actual result: Web view gets disabled when Chrome is enabled and vice versa when Chrome is disabled, but not able to browse on Chrome(May be because web view is disabled).

Chrome does not use WebView. If you're having an issue with Chrome that's not a WebView bug, and it's intentional that WebView is disabled when Chrome is enabled - in Android 7 we moved to using the code inside Chrome to provide the WebView implementation by default to reduce the number of updates you have to download.
