Installed Android app not listed in the stylus settings

Issue description

Chrome Version: 9202.12.0/ 57.0.2987.19


Launch bug: crbug/643246


Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add
the label below).

Steps To Reproduce:

a) Install an Android note-taking app (e.g. Google Keep) via ARC++.
b) Go to the stylus settings page.
c) Check for the Android app in the drop down to select


Expected Result:  Android app listed in the drop down

Actual Result:No Android app listed in the drop down

(Also there no option to select the notekeep app in md-settings - crbug/687744 )

How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or
log if possible.

For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu
page at the end of this report.

"The only publicly-available, supported app at present is the Google Keep Chrome (i.e. not Android) app, but I have written a test Android note-taking app that I am attaching to this bug."

Please install the .apk attached there and use it for testing.

@derat - tested with  with the .apk attached  http://crbug.com/66544   and it works as expected

derat@ Re #1 What apps are supported now? Only Chrome Keep app is listed in stylus settings. Android Keep app is not listed on installing it from Playstore.

Android Keep still isn't supported, as far as I'm aware. Ask tbuckley@ for details.

If you just want to try another app, I'm pretty sure that Squid (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.steadfastinnovation.android.projectpapyrus&hl=en) supports the API.
