Issue descriptionExample URL: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/amp.timeinc.net/time/4654407/huawei-mate-9-review-release-date-2017/%3Fsource%3Ddam?client=ms-unknown Steps to reproduce the problem: 0. Open Chrome on an Android device. 1. Enter some news maker name in the address bar and do the search. 2. From result cards select and tap one with AMP lightning logo. 3. Try to download the page for offline use (download button (down arrow) at the top of overflow menu). What is the expected behavior? Downloaded page usable offline. What went wrong? The download never finishes. If I pull the page down to reload, the download finishes but the downloaded page is almost empty. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 55.0.2883.91 Channel: stable OS Version: 7.0 Flash Version:

Cannot reproduce. Search query "new android phones", first AMP card is https://www.google.com/amp/bgr.com/2017/01/31/android-7-1-2-nougat-update-pixel/. I can download with the down arrow icon from the overflow menu, then I can view offline. Tried 55.0.2883.91, 56.0.2924.78, and 57.0.2987.9. Download and offline view works on each.

I can reproduce this on a Pixel XL / NMF26V and a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-18190N) / JZO54K with the current Stable (55.0.2883.91) and Canary (58.0.3000.0). The download notification remains in the downloading state indefinitely. When you click on a link or navigate to a new page, the download completes. Opening this completed download shows a blank page with just the AMP header background. Video showing this behavior has been added here: http://go/chrome-androidlogs1/6/687536
